UPDATE 23.15 It is believed that the attacker is a student or former student of the school. He has reddish hair and freckles, and at the time of the attack he wore an anorak. He also appears to be a member of the US Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program.

UPDATE 23:00 The White House canceled meeting with the press scheduled for Wednesday, due to the latest events in Florida. Some sources indicate that the suspect, barricaded in school, was detained. 

UPADE 22.50 The news about the number of victims is contradictory. The Miami Heral, quoting an official, writes that there is at least one dead. The number of wounded is between 20 and 50, but the total number of those shot is still not clear.

THE INITIAL NOTICE . A person was evacuated on a stretcher and hauled into an ambulance, according to images broadcast from the helicopter at NBC6. Five others received medical attention near high school, local TV station FOX-10 TV reported. 

As the NBC6 Channel informed, the attacker would still be in high school. 

Pictures broadcast on local TV stations showed several ambulances, fire engines and numerous police cars gathered near Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, east Florida, between Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale.
